Veezi Web recommends using Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/). Cloudflare is a free service that enhances website security, performance, and reliability with its global network. It protects against DDoS attacks, speeds up content delivery through its CDN, and improves site load times with caching and optimization tools. It also allows flexible and fast DNS management. ~20% of all websites use Cloudflare.

This process involves changing your name servers to Cloudflare. To complete this, you’ll need access to your domain registrar (this is the service with which your domain name is registered and paid for, for instance GoDaddy).

First, get setup with Cloudflare.

  1. Create an account: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/plans/

Lastly, connect your domain name to your Cloudflare account.

  1. After signing up, the next screen will ask for your existing domain.
  2. Select the Free account option, and click Continue
  3. On the next screen, ‘Review your DNS records’, you will see that Cloudflare has detected your existing DNS records. Click Continue to activation.
  4. Now, follow the instructions to update your name servers on your domain registrar.
