Google Analytics (GA) is a free web analytics service that tracks and reports website traffic. It provides valuable insights into your website's performance and user behavior.

Step 1: Create a Google Analytics account
Go to the Google Analytics website and sign up for a free account.
Step 2: Create a property
Next, you need to create a property for your website. A property is a website that you want to track with Google Analytics. To create a property, follow these steps:
- In GA, click on the Admin tab.
- Select the Create Property option.
- Follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 - click Create.
- On the Start Collecting Data screen, select Web.
- Enter your website URL and provide a name for your website. Click Create Stream.
Step 3: Get your Google Analytics ID
Now that you’ve created your account and property, we need your Measurement ID.
- On the screen Web Stream Details screen you’ll have landed on, find the Measurement ID (the format is G-XXXXXXXXXX). Copy it (CTRL+C).
Step 4: Add the ID to your Website
- Log in to your website admin, go to the Settings page, and scroll to Tracking.
- Paste (CTRL-V) the ID into the field Google Analytics ID. Hit Update.
